jemfund moves to blog format
In order to improve timeliness of information posted, we have moved the site to the blog format. This also allows users and those interested in the site to keep a track of changes through the ATOM feed.
what is jemfund
jemfund stands for Joan Evans Memorial Fund
Following the untimely loss of Joan to Ovarian cancer her daughter Michelle, having inherited a talent for organising charity fundraising, set her mind to making a difference.
The Paterson Institute is a research lab located at Christies Hospital. The fund purchases vital equipment to assist in the research, clinical trials and treatment of ovarian cancer, carried out at the Paterson labs. Funds are held in an interest bearing treasurer's account, and made available to the Institute as and when new items of equipment are needed.
Our thanks are extended to all those who have contributed to this effort.
